Yummy butter puff pastry recipe !

My sister in law is an amazing cook. I get alot of recipes and ideas from her. She recently taught me this delicious  puff pastry recipe. It's so easy to make and is a perfect addition to a tea party.

You will need two sheets of puff pastry. Let them thaw at room temp according to instructions on the box.

Take out around  2 cups of frozen mixed veggies

Fry them up with a bit of butter and black pepper until they are soft

When the puff pastry is soft cut them into squares or whatever shape you want

Fill them up with a scoop of the veggie mix and top off with a bit of cheese ! Fold over gently and squeeze the edges with your fingers to seal them off.

Whisk one egg and brush a thin layer on top of the pastries. Bake them in a toaster oven for about 20 minutes until they are golden brown.

Super tasty and flaky, these pastries will be a sure hit with your family :). You can also fill these pastries up with ground meat, chicken or whatever combination you like.
